Filmmakers first. Production company second.

4 Winds Productions started in 2022, midway through film school — born from a shared obsession with visual storytelling and a refusal to wait for permission to start making things.

We cut our teeth on short films, honed our craft through formal training, and found our direction on a cross-country road trip from Springfield, VA, to California. Somewhere in the Midwest, the name stuck — borrowed from the trailer that carried our gear.

Today, we bring that same restless creative energy to every project. Whether it's a 30-second property tour or a two-week documentary shoot in South Africa, we show up with the same commitment: tell the story right.

"Named after our trusty trailer, 4 Winds embodies what we care about most — going wherever the story takes us."

Services

Every project gets a dedicated producer, professional-grade equipment, and a clear timeline from first call to final delivery.

01

Testimonial Interviews

We set up cinematic lighting, professional audio, and a comfortable environment so your clients or team members can share their story naturally. You get a polished 2–3 minute video ready for your website and social channels.

02

Short Films & Narratives

Have an idea for a brand story, fundraiser video, or creative short? We handle scripting, production, and post — from concept to final cut. Most projects wrap in 2–4 weeks.

03

Real Estate Video Tours

Cinematic property walkthroughs, twilight exteriors, and aerial drone footage — delivered within 48 hours. MLS-ready files plus social media cuts included with every package.

04

Podcast Production

Multi-camera video recording, professional audio, and full post-production editing. We handle the technical side so you can focus on the conversation.

05

Music Videos

From concept development to color-graded final delivery, we produce music videos that match your artistic vision. Location scouting, lighting design, and editing all included.

06

Event Coverage

Quinceañeras, galas, corporate events, conferences — we capture the full story with multi-camera setups. Same-day highlight reels available on request.

Clear process. Better footage.

The work gets smoother when expectations are sharp early. This is how most projects move from first note to final delivery.

Typical response window

We usually reply to new inquiries within 24 hours with availability, next steps, and the best format for the project.

01

Shape the brief

We define the goal, audience, location, and timeline so the scope matches the story instead of drifting after the shoot date is set.

  • Service, schedule, and budget range aligned early
  • Shot priorities identified before production day
  • Reference links or examples folded into the plan
02

Run the shoot cleanly

Whether it is a listing, interview, or documentary setup, the day is organized around efficient coverage, calm direction, and strong sound.

  • Lighting, audio, and pacing handled on site
  • Drone and exterior coverage layered in when needed
  • Flexible enough for real people and real locations
03

Deliver for real-world use

The final package is cut for where it will actually live: MLS, Vimeo, social, web, donor outreach, or event recap.

  • Fast-turn real estate edits when timing matters
  • Clean review cycle with direct feedback
  • Exports prepared for web, socials, and presentations

Now booking spring and early summer 2026 shoots

Have a project in mind?
Let's make the first reply useful.

Instead of a vague "hey, can you send rates?", use the planner to outline your shoot. We will reply within 24 hours with next steps, availability, and a grounded range.

01

Tell us the shape of the project

Pick the service, timeline, budget range, and location so we can answer with something concrete.

02

Get the right next step fast

For listing media, that usually means scheduling and property access. For documentary or brand work, it means a scope call and treatment.

03

No pressure, just a sharper starting point

If email is easier, you can still write directly and we will take it from there.

Questions we usually get before booking.

If you are still sorting out scope, this should answer the basics. If not, the project planner above is the fastest way to send a useful first note.

How quickly can you turn around real estate work?
Most real estate photo and video packages land within 48 hours, depending on access, weather, and whether drone or twilight coverage is included.
Do you only take local projects?
Northern Virginia is home base, so Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, and Springfield are easy territory. For documentary, ministry, or larger branded projects, travel is absolutely on the table.
What should I send in the first inquiry?
Project type, location, timing, and a rough budget range are the biggest unlocks. If you have examples you like, add them. The planner above is built around exactly that.
Can you handle both production and post?
Yes. 4 Winds handles planning, filming, audio, editing, color, and delivery. Some projects are lean and fast; others are multi-stage and more collaborative. The workflow scales either way.
